We were met by an incredible group from Wisconsin,... read more so we had a total of 22 people! The staff is so friendly, and really make you feel welcome in every single aspect. The food was incredible, and super authentic. There was always options for us, especially for those with dietary restrictions. The cabins were so cute! They were comfortable, and provided a place to relax after a day of volunteering/ecotourism. The place is just beautiful overall, and provides amazing scenery and breathtaking landscapes. The service projects associated with this eco-lodge also make you feel like you are making a difference, and you feel the passion the staff has for each of their projects. I cannot wait to come back! 10/10 would recommend. Would stay again!

The staff were friendly and the food at the café nextdoor was okay,,,,,
We arrived early so had a walk around, only to find that the whole place is in need of not just a face lift but major surgery,
Everything was old, dirty, tired and rotting, and then our room was ready,
It has very high steps to get up a nice little varander, then inside OMG the smell of rot and damp was awful, the toilet pan was clean, the sink needed replacing, a dirty rotten shelf, the bed had an old damp mattress, with only a bottom sheet a small very thin old throw and mucky 2 pillow's, but the pockets of crumbling damp/mould on the walls was the last straw.
Fortunately we got our money back and the people running the place were very nice to us.
Only book if you don't mind all of the above. More

  Great weather during our visit, lovely space full of green and flowers everywhere, nature everywhere. Excellent for a couple o family getaway, warm drinks, fireplace, and clear skies.
Everything you... read more eat or drink has to be purchased before arriving, there’s a kitchen with just a stove, nice for a preprepped lasagna or cielito lindo, hot cocoa and coffee can be made there. Fire place inside the house, must take all personal goods.
